Belwood Bullmastiffs can only be described as a family ran kennel.Let me introduce you to our clann. My name is Paul Briscoe and with my wife Aisling and three girls Jane, Anna,& Meabh we are gradually building our own line of Bullmastiffs. We are involved in the Bullmastiff Breed 8 years, we first showed in December 05 and at the moment we have now Bred 4 Champions and 5 Belwood dogs have been made up Champions including the very first ever International & Irish Junior Champions Bred in Breed History In Ireland .

Showing of bullmastiffs is only Secondary, as both of us are involved in the Welfare & Rescue of bullmastiffs throughout the island of Ireland with some true bullmastiff friends.

Aisling and I are very much involved with our local club, Drogheda & District Canine Club, where both of us hold Committee positions .Aisling is our Treasurer and I am Show Manager & Irish Kennel Club Representative , where I represent our club on An Ard Comhairle which is the Irish Kennel Clubs main Committee which I am extremely proud of especially in 2009 when our country Ireland hosts the European Winners Show .

I am an I.K.C approved judge, and have now judged Breeds and at Group Level in Grp 1,2,5,6,&7 at Open level and wish to progress now to Championship level where I am now approverd by the Irish Kennel Club to Judge at Championship Level to award Green Stars.
I have judged Bullmastiffs at Championship level and will progress in Grp 2 in 2010

2010 We receive Harry our Irish Glen Of Imaal Terrier from the world famous Abberann Kennel many thanks to Ann & Nicky White for allowing us have such a wonderful dog "Harry".
